Woodwind Exchange is a friendly business owned by Bradford born saxophonist, Stuart MacDonald. Stuart began playing the saxophone at the age of 13 years and at 16 became a pro musician working on the cruise boats and touring with small and large jazz bands alike. Stuart has played with many well known musicians including Shirley Bassey, Lisa Stansfield, Pete King, Gerard Presencer, Don Weller and Andy Sheppard to name but a few. The shop itself specialises in woodwind and brass instruments and is a musicians paradise! As a young musician Stuart was frustrated at being unable to try a vast range of new and vintage saxophones all under one roof, so when the opportunity presented itself to start his own woodwind business he created his own dream saxophone emporium. As the business has matured the range of instruments has vastly expanded, and now Woodwind Exchange boasts a huge stock of both new and second hand, modern and vintage, student and professional woodwind and brass instruments.

Lynda Hudson joined the company back in 1996.
